You never know what you are going to get when you go to a networking event. Some people you can tell are kind of interested but more concerned about what happened at work that day, others for free cocktails, and then there is a person like Katie Berganske. Katie has a "service over self" attitude. Walking into a room full of people who you are trying to build relationships with can be intimidating and overwhelming.
