Service Over Self

Hello friends. We just wanted to share a couple thoughts on how we operate our business and some insight on how we view our clients. Each client is unique and so is each removal. We have had the opportunity to meet so many great people since we opened up our doors in November of 2009. The plain fact that we provide a service that puts a smile on our clients face means a lot to us. We know these situations can be overwhelming a lot of the time. Especially when a loved one has passed and their possessions are left behind. Having to go through this process is probably one of the most difficult things a family has to do. It is has happened to both of us personally as well. Coming across old pictures, your favorite bowl Grandma had reserved for you every time you came over for a bowl of her famous chili, Dad's tools, and of course the couch that all the grand kids piled onto for the annual Christmas picture. This then strikes the question: "What do we do with all this stuff?" Most of the time we didn't have the answer. Now you do. You have the ability to allow the Remedy to happen. Nobody wants to see their loved one's possessions go to the trash. We will donate a lot of these items on your behalf so that you know they are going to a good home and being put to use. A lot of times charities will come through and pick certain items but there is still a ton of reusable goods left over. We can find a good home for them and that alone makes us feel pretty amazing every day.  We now would like to thank our clients for choosing us and implore those that haven't to check us out. We truly care about what happens to your belongings. Thanks again for taking the time to read this!!!

Our Best Wishes in 2011!!

GREEN RECYCLING TIPS

5 REMEDY TIPS TO KEEP YOUR HOUSEHOLD GREEN!!!!

1.    1.        REUSE ALL PAINT LEFTOVER FROM PREVIOUS PROJECTS TO TOUCH UP HIGH TRAFFIC AREAS IN HOUSE. ANYTHING LEFT OVER SET ASIDE ON A TARP .TAKE 1 BAG OF KITTY LITTER AND POUR EQUAL AMOUNTS INTO EACH CANISTER AND LET IT SIT OVERNIGHT. THE PAINT WILL SOLIDIFY AND IS READY TO BE PICKED UP THE NEXT DAY.
2.     2.        ALL APPLIANCES NEED TO BE DRAINED OF CFC’S (I.E. FREON) BEFORE THEY CAN BE RECYCLED.
3.    3.        BE CAUTIOUS OF DISPOSING ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT BECAUSE IT MAY CONTAIN LEAD AND OTHER HAZARDOUS MATERIALS. CONTACT YOUR LOCAL RECYCLE COMPANY JUNK REMEDY.
4.   4.        USE UP YOUR CURRENT CLEANING PRODUCTS AND THEN TRY BAKING SODA OR A MIX OF WATER AND VINEGAR WHEN POSSIBLE(GREAT FOR GRIME AND SHOWER SCUM). OFTEN IT’S EQUALLY EFFECTIVE, PLUS IT IS LESS SMELLY AND DAMAGING!! (COMMERCIAL BATHROOM CLEANERS ARE THE WORST-A SMALL SPILL CAN BURN YOUR SKIN!)
5.    USE RE-USABLE SHOPPING BAGS. THERE’S MORE PARTICLES OF PLASTIC IN THE OCEAN THAN TINY ORGANISMS AND GREEN BAGS NEVER BREAK. YOU CAN FIT WAY MORE GROCERIES AND OTHER ITEMS IN THESE BAGS

The Educated Junk Man

If it wasn't for my business partner Nick I would be lost in the junk world. The last year of my life has been an amazing one. Let alone losing 30lbs and developing what we call "junk muscles" it has only gotten better.  He has shown me how to go into a setting that would take most people years to sort and shown me how to make it disappear in one day. We have come to the point where the client is throughly amazed how fast, efficient, and cost effective our service is. I'm not saying this to brag but simply to state how proud I am and grateful that we have started this business. So this is my thank to you Nick. I love you like a brother and look forward to making this company be the best it can be. My best to you and Junk Remedy in 2011!!
